2020, what a year!
If any of us had known what we were in for this year, we might have all just hunkered down under the covers on January 1st and said let’s skip ahead to 2021. And while this year was filled with all things unexpected, with growing pains and challenges — after all is said and done I’m sure we can all find a few good things that have come out of 2020.
This just happened to be the timely theme for my marketing campaign this year – it ended up becoming my personal mantra as well!
Things I’m grateful for:
- My clients and all the great projects I’ve been fortunate to work on this year – thank you for keeping me busy!
- My trip to Savannah, GA in January to work on my business plan with my coach, Ilise Benun and a group of amazing women business owners. Thanks to that trip, I was able to create a plan and stick to it.
- The gift of time. I filled any extra time I had with my own marketing, skill building and accountability groups to help me stay on track and grow my business. I couldn’t have done it without their support.
- A new perspective. After “all the things” came to a screeching halt, I realized that some of the activities I was a part of weren’t really serving me anymore. They quietly went away, which opened up new opportunities.
- Virtual networking. I’ve gained new clients this year – and formed a new collaborative partnership, which means being able to offer even more services in 2021. More on that to follow…
I’d love to hear what kinds of challenges you’ve overcome and what has been working for you this year. And while I don’t know what lies in store for 2021, I’m remaining cautiously optimistic for what’s to come.
Cheers to a Peaceful Holiday Season & Prosperous New Year!
With Gratitude,
-Jen
