How can I help?
Get the word out!
I live in the Minneapolis area. Things have been difficult lately. It’s made everyone pause and re-evaluate the status quo in our community. I think that’s a good thing. How can you know what to do until these difficult conversations are started?
As I was doing research to find ways to help, I came across Juxtaposition Arts which jogged my memory. It’s an art studio that I’ve seen in the neighborhood, but never knew much about until seeing their name on a list of places to donate. So I clicked on their website. I immediately noticed their logo and loved the design as well as their mission; to develop community by engaging and employing young urban artists in hands-on education initiatives that create pathways to self-sufficiency while actualizing creative power.
This is an excellent example of a well-designed 25th Anniversary logo. I love the choice of bright colors along with the bold shapes perfectly aligned to signify positioning—and how they’ve incorporated this theme into the logo and promotion of their capital campaign to raise funds for a new facility.

[Juxtaposition Arts is a teen-staffed art and design center, gallery, retail shop, and artists’ studio space in North Minneapolis.]
I would love to hear about your favorite non-profit! After all, people just want to be heard and what better way to get the word out than by helping local businesses and non-profits get their message out!
