3 Secrets to a Successful Marketing Campaign
-OR- Wouldn’t it be great to have someone that keeps track of your marketing for you?
I played this role when I helped one of my clients in the packaging-related manufacturing space win a new customer. By having monthly meetings, reaching out to targeted prospects with a multi-channel campaign and follow-up by the sales team, they accomplished this goal. All of this work and planning resulted in my client winning the project they set out to win, along with a customer in a new niche.
Here’s how we did it: First we started setting up monthly meetings where we would plan out the specific marketing projects to complete during the month. This meeting was great for brainstorming strategy and content ideas, putting everything down in a calendar to track where each project was at and assigning deadlines for each item on the list. Next we started creating a direct mail postcard with an intriguing headline to grab attention. Then, another postcard with a USB card attached that included video of their packaging solutions. Next on the list, we created artwork and content for three follow-up email campaigns, each with a call to action and links to social media pages with more information.
I know this process works, because I use the same system for my own marketing. If you have systems in place to measure and track what you are doing you will be more motivated with each small win and eventually end up reaching your marketing goals.
If you need someone to play this role in your business, I can help. Together, we can strategize a plan that will help you reach your marketing goals, whatever that might look like for your business… and January is the perfect time to get started!
All the best,
Jen
