I’m a graphic designer in Minneapolis and I help business owners and marketing directors at packaging-related manufacturing firms, small businesses and non-profits reach prospects, engage audiences and win new customers with professional graphic design and marketing services.
I recently found some of my old report cards and noticed the comments from my art teacher in high school (see below), which was an early indicator of how I ended up in design. I graduated from Concordia College with a B.A. in Communications with an emphasis in Advertising and a Minor in Art. I would spend hours working on a project in the studio to get it just right and loved every minute of it.
I’ve worked in several different areas of design. I started out learning the print process, which fueled my love of all things ink and paper. Then I worked in publishing for a few years and eventually made the move to an ad agency in the warehouse district of Minneapolis. I worked there for 8 years which became the impetus to start my own design studio. I bring my enthusiasm for design into every aspect of my business, as well as the client work I do today.
My work has been published in Packaging World, Healthcare Packaging, Law & Politics, SuperLawyers, and MSP magazines and I am a Board Member of the Institute of Packaging Professionals, Minnesota Chapter.
When I’m not busy at work, I enjoy spending time outdoors by going on camping trips up north, kayaking on nearby lakes or just taking a walk in the neighborhood. I also love a good renovation project, you can usually find me working on re-purposing furniture (among other things) with chalk paint.
If you want to know more about what it's like to work with me, let's talk!
