Oxyjen Design is a graphic design studio looking to create connections with our clients to better serve their needs and create design solutions that motivate audiences to act. Whether that's by engaging employees, targeting prospects or showing the great work they do in regards to sustainability.

Over the past 20 years, I've seen it time and time again: Marketing Directors and Business Owners under huge pressure to get multiple marketing projects completed – sometimes for all of the audiences listed above. I make your life easier by taking care of the details, and you look good in the process.

Achieving your business goals through design. My background includes knowledge of the following industries:

• Printing: Which fueled my love of all things ink and paper
• Publishing: A lot of late nights getting magazines published & out the door, which means I don't leave until the project is completed, no matter the deadline!
• Advertising: Working at an agency helped me realize my dream of starting my own design studio. I bring that design thinking into every aspect of client work and deliverables. 

Ending the tired game of Telephone.

After working in the "real" world, I saw first hand how much gets lost in translation, from client communications to project manager to creative. Remember that game called Telephone, where you sat in a big circle and the first person whispers a secret into the next person's ear and so on? By the time it gets to the end of the circle, the message gets muddled. This is one of the main reasons I started my design studio. I see the client relationship as a necessary part of the design process. In fact, many of my clients have been on my roster for over 10 years. Why, you ask? Because our relationship is so strong it makes it easy to problem solve and find the best way to reach your goals. 

And now the personal stuff...

When I’m not busy at work, I enjoy spending time outdoors; going on camping trips "up north" in Minnesota, kayaking on nearby lakes; or just taking a walk in the neighborhood. I support clean water causes and I am involved in several local groups serving as President of the Friends of Northwood Lake Association and as Alternate Commissioner on the Bassett Creek (Haha Wakpadan) Watershed Commission.
